Is it OK to know where your husband is at all times?

The very first bullet point? “They check on you all the time to see where you are, what you’re doing and who you’re with.”

No, it’s not OK to know where anyone is at all times unless they are somehow mentally incapacitated and you are their caregiver (i.e. an infant, someone with alzheimer’s, etc.).

As someone else mentioned, it’s OK if you *happen* to know where someone is, because your schedule is predictable, they want people to know where they are for safety, you’re planning to meet up with them, etc. It’s not OK to keep tabs on someone’s location, whereabouts, and movements at all times. That’s some serious level of controlling and possessive behaviour right there. That is a complete violation of another person’s autonomy.

That is literally a symptom of domestic abuse
